 Medical Training Centre at Reading University.

ABC Medical Services are very pleased to announce that we have opened a new fully equipped Medical Training Centre. The new centre will enable us to run a yearly programme of courses including First Aid At Work, Paediatric First Aid, Health Care Training, Moving and Handling, Risk Assessment, Health and Safety and CACHE approved NVQ & Diploma Courses. The new centre will also mean that we can accommodate group bookings here at Reading University. We have invested in the latest presentation and training aids, which will benefit our students, as well as allowing us to continue to provide the high standards of medical training that our clients expect. CACHE Approved Childcare Training Centre.

ABC Medical Services is now an approved CACHE Childcare training provider. We will be providing a range of Childcare NVQ & Diploma courses.  We will be offering a “Childcare Training Pack” consisting of The introduction to Childcare Practice Course (ICP) 12hrs and Paediatric First Aid Course 12hrs. On completion of this training pack it will enable Childminders & Nannies to register with OFSTED or The Childcare Approval Scheme. Please contact our office for dates.

 

Paediatric First Aid & Anaphylaxis Training for Childminders, Nannies and School Staff.

From the start of our company we have always specialised in the training of Paediatric Emergency Care and over the years we have gained a vast amount of experience in this field of training. We fully understand the needs of the various childcare settings, and can provide training to meet your individual needs. We are an an approved training provider of The Paediatric First Aid Association and recognised by The National Childminding Association, The Pre School Learning Alliance and OFSTED our Paediatric First Aid courses also meet the requirements of The Childcare Approval Scheme. We provide training to hundreds of Childminders, Nursery Nurses, Pre School Staff, Nannies, Teachers and Parents each year. We are very proud to have clients such as The Norland College (Norland Nannies) The Chiltern College (Chiltern Nannies) & Eton College.

Here are the last group of Norland Nannies proudly displaying their ABC Medical Paediatric First Aid Certificates. All Norlanders are required to complete our Paediatric First Aid and Anaphylactic Shock Awareness before they qualify as a Norland Nanny. Once again we will be returning to Norland in April and June 2010 to train the next group of Norlanders.
