Introduction to Care & Health Care Assistant Course
4 Day Care Training Package: Cost per person for this course is £200 + VAT.
Our Care training course has been designed for all those who wish to start a career in the care industry. The course meets the requirements of The National Care Standards mandatory training, These include:
- First Aid & Basic Life Support
- Introduction to Health & Safety
- Risk Assessment
- Protection of vulnerable adults (POVA)
- Moving and Handling of People
An additional fifth day can be provided on request to cover:
- Basic Food Hygiene
- Medication Safety

Basic Life Support for Medical and Dental Practitioners
(3hrs Verifiable CPD)
This course is run over 2-3hrs and is an ideal initial and refresher training course for health care professionals. The course meets the requirements of annual Continual Professional Development training, and will award 3 hours of verifiable CPD. The course is run regularly for GP and Dental Practices. We also run the course for care homes, hospitals and Health Visitor teams. Topics covered include:
- Incident Management
- Management of an unconscious casualty
- Basic Life Support Adult & Paediatric
- Use of your resuscitation equipment including Oxygen, Airways and Suction.
- We will also cover all additional topics you require ie Anaphylaxis etc.
This course can be run at your location or at our centre.
