Managing Medicines in Early Years Course (3hr)
This course has become extremely popular with all types of Early Years Settings. Topics covered include:
- Designing a care plan
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Consent
- Storage of medicines
- Types of medicine
- Controlled Drugs
- Emergency Procedures
This course will give students confidence in managing medicines and dealing with children who have special medical needs. The course can be run at your location or at our training centre.
Moving and Handling for Childcare Course (3hr)
This course is specifically designed for child care practitioners. It will provide information on moving and handling risk assessments and safe practice. We like to run this course at your location as this will give the tutor the opportunity to see hazards at your setting.
Childcare Health and Safety & Risk Assessment awareness course. (3hr)
This is course will provide information on the following topics
- Roles and responsibilities
- The health and safety at work act
- First Aid provision and equipment
- Fire Safety
- Security
- Conducting a risk assessment and the 5 point plan
This course is run regularly for local early years teams but can also be run at your setting.
